The 8-step Moonlight and Shadows program to get you started as soon as possible.
1) You require NWN2 and both expansions Mask of the Betrayer plus Storm of Zehir to play on this server. Check your overrides directory, if you have installed any tweak. Overrides, if differing and conflicting from what a NWN2 server has, will cause considerable lag, including crashes.
2) Download Whatbricks override (Link). Whatbricks is not essencial to play with, but if don't have it installed and encounter someone using a character with modded hair, that character will appear to you as bald. From Whatbricks, download the full collection, and paste only the hair folder to your My Documents/Neverwinter Nights 2/Overrides folder.
3) Download the Races of Faerun Pack and Kaedrins Prestige Pack (Link).
4) Simply login to our server, we apreciate if you use the direct connect button and enter our server IP: 69.42.48.41:5121. The autodownloader should start working and copying all the required files into your computer.
5) While this is being done, take some time to read the server rules (Link), browse the forums.
6) You should have by now all the tools you need to log online to the server. The first time you do, take some time to read all the signs and info, in the starter area.
7) Currently we have 3 starting areas for new characters. Our world is centered around Luruar and the city of Silverymoon, so most of the work for a budding adventurer is located there. As your character becomes more confident of his own skills and ability He may try his luck in the wilds, and in Quaervarr, the small logging outpost in the Moonwood, where some work exists for a wide range of adventurers, from the wet behind the ear type, to the most seasoned warrior.
If your race, is not welcomed in Silverymoon, or prefers a more unsavory setting, He or She may feel more confortable in the streets and alleys of the town of Lorkh, ruled by the iron gauntleted fist of Lord Ithym.
Should you play a drow, the city of Menzoberranzan, awaits with its web open, for you. It will be up to your character to decide wether it shall become another victim, survivor or even thrive in such a place.
Gnomes and dwarves will soon have a place to truly call their home, in the halls, mines and caverns of Mithrall Hall, as the final touches for its completion are taking place.
8 ) There is only one more rule all players should bear in mind. Always respect your fellow players both in the forums and the server, but most of all....

Do we still have a link to the megaupload website where the hak files are stored. I'm trying to use YIM to transfer files to a new player but the connection seems to time out.
Does anybody have the hak files uloaded to an FTP somewhere maybe?

Didja put all the Haks needed into the zipfile, or just those big ones we've been dealing with?

I'm sorry to say, but I'm still missing the rws_all_in_one.hak file. did you take it from your own hak folder?
Again, I managed to get small files (shield.hak and snow.hak etc), but the FPT (apparently?) fell out with the big file. And I'm still missing 300-400MB according to the autodownloader, thats what's most strange...

rws_all_in_one is included in the rar file...
What directory are you placing the files?
They should go to:
My Documents\Neverwinter Nights 2\hak

Ofcourxe, I even tried copying my hak folder into: program files/neverwinter nigths 2 - but even that didn't help.
But it's strange that the zipfile contains 1.3 gigs of HAKs, but the amount i need to download from the autodownloader goes down from 475MB to 440MB approx. I don't know how you're able to log on with these files, unless these are not files from your own hak directory?
