I will go over the major canon events that should be taken into account on the server, when running events, creating characters, etc. I will start from the year 1374 DR (Ie, the last 3 years). I will draw particular emphasis towards events in the marches itself. It will be up to players, who create characters from other lands, to research the timeline though I will try to add events that seem of world importance too. This is all from the faerun wiki, publicly available. I hope to keep this up to date with any other bits and pieces i may find. one or two liberties might be taken to streamline events and will be marked in parenthesis eg (( ....))
1369 DR
Alustrial steps down and appoints Taern Hornblade as High Mage.
1374DR
1 Ches: An orc warband accompanied by daemonfey launch an overnight attack on Rheitheillathor in the High Forest. Although the wood elf inhabitants fought back, they were forced into retreat.
6 Tarsakh: The army from Everlund led by Methrammar Aerasumé is ambushed in the High Forest by the daemonfey and accompanying orcs. The daemonfey and orcs are driven back, but only one fey'ri is killed in exchange for a larger number of casualties on the other side.[4]
Across Faerūn, people flock to Elversult to convert to the Church of Amaunator.
The clergies of Cyric and Shar in Cormyr conspire to tear a hole in the Weave to create a vast Dead-magic zone.
16 Alturiak: Sarya Dlardrageth uses the Gatekeeper's Crystal to dispel the magical protection on Nar Kerymhoarth and gains access, freeing nearly two thousand fey'ri

The Zhentarim conclude the war with Myth Drannor. A negotiated peace treaty between Fzoul Chembryl and Ilsevele Miritar leaves the forest to the elves, the lands north of Hillsfar and Dagger Falls and the rule of the Zhentarim, and gives the Black Network free passage along the Moonsea Ride and Rauthauvar's
Nyphithys, Erinyes consort to Arklem Greeth is killed by Obould Many-Arrows.
Retcons:
Some future events, such as the death of Elisatree etc might have been rped on the server. To get things back on track, I suggest retconning anything before hand as simply visions of things that might come to pass (but have not yet done so)
Queen Alustrial is still around despite being stood down. ICly she has been recalled due to the instability of the confederation, and the threat posed by Obould foremost.

| Amaunator? Wasn't he like a sun god from Baldur's Gate 2? I thought he didn't have followers anymore or something. Yeah, I only know the lore that's in the various games lol.

ou can find details on Amaunator from the faerun wiki. Here is the important parts:
When Netheril fell, the common people who were not killed by the fall of the enclaves (the only living worshipers of the deity) largely abandoned Amaunator, believing that he had done nothing to prevent the disaster.[3] His followers were right, but contractually, his hands were tied. Magic in all its forms was under the exclusive control of Mystryl, and Amaunator had no lawful right to interfere in any way, even when a magical catastrophe, such as Netheril’s fall, was in the process of occurring.
Over the centuries, many theories have been put forward by later religious scholars as to what ultimate fate Amaunator met. Some insist that he died, but others (notably the Sunmasters of the Brotherhood of the Glorious Sun) argue that he was reborn as Lathander. Still others believe he survives as the vengeful Bedine deity known as At'ar the Merciless[3] and yet others assert that he turned his back on Faerūn and entered the pantheon of the lands of Kara-Tur or simply moved on to other planets (such as Oerth). The truth is that with the loss of nearly all his followers in Netheril after its fall, Amaunator began the long, arduous, and painful process of dying of neglect. After about a millennium, he did not have enough power left to maintain his power base in the outer planes and was exiled to the astral plane. His corpse drifted with the endless astral tides, awaiting a day when some ambitious spirit may help him regain his once-proud heritage.
That day came when Daelegoth Orndeir became the high priest of the Temple of the Morn. Daelegoth had long been a Sunmaster, a cleric of Lathander who believed that he was merely a reincarnation of Amaunator and would soon turn back into his former self. On Midsummer of 1374 DR he performed a miracle, creating a second sun over the city of Elversult that never sets, viewable from 150 miles away. Converts flocked to the city in droves while the church of Lathander pondered on what to do... ((Lathander does not reveal himself until spellplague, so his church remains in power on the server))
((this is probably a bit too far away from the setting of the server so its unlikely they would have seen the second sun but news of it would have spread like wild fire))
